Description of camp type

Curious pondering, games and activities, deep dialogues, new friends, interesting opinions, camp life and a good time. Prometheus camps are all of this and even more.
International-leiri on englanninkielinen leiri, joka on tarkoitettu muille kuin suomea tai ruotsia äidinkielenä puhuville. Pieni kiintiö on osoitettu myös suomen- tai ruotsinkielisille, joiden englanninkielen taito on kuitenkin riittävä tehokkaaseen itseilmaisuun.

Camping site Oriniemi

Aurinko, meri ja protuleiri. Oriniemi on rakastettu leiripaikka Turun Hirvensalossa, jonne tullaan joka kesä pohtimaan elämää kauempaakin. Päärakennuksessa iso sali ja takkahuone. Majoittuminen 6 hengen huoneissa. Sisä-wc. Suihkumahdollisuus juoksevalla vedellä, mutta pääosin peseydytään puusaunassa muuripadassa lämmitettävällä vedellä. Rannalla laituri, josta pääsee mereen uimaan. Hyvät julkiset yhteydet Turun keskustasta, Helsingistä ja Tampereeltakin vain n. 2,5h ajomatka.

Basic discount

Children or adult campers from economically disadvantaged families are entitled to a discount on the camp fee (€70). E.g. unemployed, working low-income earners, pensioners, students, low-income single parents and long-term sick people are entitled to the discount. You can also get a discount in other similar circumstances where the income is not enough to cover the expenses.

When applying for a basic discount, enter the discount basis in the field below.

Special discount

Families in a very weak financial position can also apply for a bigger discount on the child’s youth camp fee from the association by sending a free-form request to Protu’s office at protu@protu.fi. You can tell more about the family’s financial situation in the message, but we don’t need attachments.
